Broken Rice Upma – (Noi Upma/Arisi Upma)

Added another dish, to my favourite food list😀 Yes, currently stuck towards homemade Yummy foods which are made by my mom.

I hope many would truly love eating Upma🤤You all have heard about Sooji Upma, Vermicelli Upma, tomato Upma, Poha Upma.

This Upma is quite distinct. It is made using Broken Rice and also called Arisi Upma.

Arisi Upma is an easy and quick dish to serve for breakfast 😍

My entire family cherishes this Upma. My grandmother is excellent at preparing Broken Rice.

It took just fifteen minutes only to prepare this Broken Rice Upma🤤

INGREDIENTS:

💥 Broken Rice

💥 Oil

💥 Green Chilli

💥 Onion

💥 Water

💥 Mustard Seeds

💥 Salt

💥 Dry Red Chillies

💥 Urad Dhal

💥 Curry Leaves

Only Simple ingredients needed to prepare hot and yummy Upma🤤

How do we get/prepare Broken Rice?🤔

Usually, we used to buy rice from the store or a few may be cultivated in their land. Now, you can use a Mixer grinder, which we normally use in our Kitchen and Grind those rice in it.

You will get an excellent Broken Rice.

Let’s see the Preparation 👀

🌿 Heat the pan with cooking oil, add the mustard seeds, urad dhal, green chillies, Dry red chillies, onion and curry leaves. Saute till everything turns to colour.

🌿 Add salt and water, once the water starts boiling add the broken rice in it.Cover with the lid for 10 to 15 minutes.

🌿 And the upma is almost done, Serve hot with coconut chutney and tomato chutney 🤤
